Presentation by Mr. George Jepson, great-grandson of Captain George Jepson of the Hum, on the evolution of commercial ship types on the Great Lakes, with particular emphasis on their impact on maritime communities along Lake Michigan's eastern shore, the Depot, 7:00 p.m.

Sunset Cruise on board the Keweenaw Star, 7:00 p.m., cost: $25.00 p.p The Star has a cash bar; snacks, water and soft drinks will also be available.

All events are open to the public except the Venetian Potluck, and at no charge except for the Christmas Dinner.
The Charlevoix Historical Society is a non-profit organization whose objective is to bring together people who are interested in the history and heritage of the Charlevoix area and in the protection and preservation of places and objects of historical value. The Society sponsors many events throughout the year to which the public is invited.
